Wednesday 11/15 at 7pm: De Fermo: Visionary in Abruzzo

Wednesday, November 15, 2017

While many of us know Montepulciano d'Abruzzo as a cheap friendly red from Southern Italy, there are several producers raising the bar of this misunderstood grape. Stefano De Fermo is producing some incredibly expressive and terroir-driven examples of Montepulciano in both red, as well as the unique "cerasuolo" style of dark rose. He is also producing an exquisite example of Pecorino, the curious white grape of Abruzzo. Join us in welcoming Stefano to Brooklyn Wine Exchange to pour his wonderful wines (and a little olive oil, too!)
